Cancellation Terms / Non Cancellation Fee
General Cancellation Terms
- Basically, all cancellations of reservations made through the booking tool CYTRIC (independently of the rental country) can be cancelled without any fee.
- It´s obligatory required that the cancellation is done before the reserved pick up time.
- If the reserved pick up time is exceeded, the Non Cancellation Fee will be charged.
When will the Non Cancellation Fee be charged?
The Fee will be charged if the customer- Does not cancel his reservation prior to his planned rental starting time
- Does not re-book his reservation prior to his planned rental starting time
- Does not pick up the car within 24 hours after his planned rental starting time
How will the Non Cancellation Fee be charged?
The Non Cancellation Fee will be charged via a method of payment of the customerThe following methods of payment are available:
- Personal credit card of customer: Charging will be done by Avis directly to the customer
- AV-account of the travel agency: Charging will be done by Avis to the travel agency, if a travel agency voucher was issued
- AV-account of the corporate customer: Charging will be done by Avis to the corporate customer, if a company travel order (ACTO) was issued by the travel agency
Cancellation number / cancellation tracking
There won´t be a cancellation number.
As long as the reservation was cancelled before the advised rental starting time, there will be no fee charged. It is not relevant, if the reservation was cancelled via the GDS systems or at the rental location directly.
How much is the Non Cancellation Fee and in which countries will it be charged?
The fee will be rolled out bit by bit into all AVIS-countries worldwide to the above mentioned terms. Currently, the fee is charged in the following countries:
